Benjamin wrote in 1935 a volume with several essays entitled “ The work of art in the Age of its Technological reproducibility”. As a digital humanist, my thoughts turn towards an author, Walter Benjamin, a philosopher I loved during my studies in Philosophy. Looking at this contingency, i s this the new horizon we are going to face? Here are some thoughts.ĭall-eand Midjourney are becoming increasingly present hashtags in our social feeds, and we are extremely fascinated by their potential. Focusing on this last output, the digital art involves also the creation of images with no graphic and technical expertise. As a result, we see new creations by method and content just to name a few, the creation of fake news and graphic representation without any effort. ![]() Contemporaneity pushes us to deal with digital technologies and new scenarios of imagination. ![]()
